Post Judgment Attorney
Multi-state legal recoveries firm seeks Post Judgment Attorney to join our rapidly growing team.
Job Responsibilities
Review and execute documents requiring Attorney’s signature for TX post judgment inventory.
Communicate with Post Judgment Attorney Manager and clients in order to discuss details of cases
Assist in responding to post judgment specific components of all client audits
Monitor relevant legal rules, regulations, statutes, and case law
Conduct research and analysis of legal problems
Analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents
Prepare and file legal documents
Oversee support staff, assist in managing workflow as needed
Respond to inquiries from the collection and/or legal staff on handling post judgment accounts. Maintain job aides for team
Required Skills and Experience
Graduate of an accredited institution by the American Bar Association (ABA) with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
Licensed to practice law in the state of TX required
Demonstrated case analysis ability and a track record of proven settlement skills
Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point
Proficient in internet and online research
Ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, printer, scanner, and computer
Effective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
Excellent organizational skills with an eye for details
Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it
Salary dependent upon qualifications.
