Embedded Software Engineer

You'll be part of a cross-functional team building embedded applications and low-level software that interact directly with wireless hardware, including LTE, 5G, and IoT technologies, and will help drive technical decisions around architecture, performance, and reliability in production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and debug embedded software for wireless modules and microcontroller-based systemsWork closely with hardware and RF engineering teams on platform bring-up and hardware/software integrationImplement and test device drivers, communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C), and middlewareSupport cellular module integration, certification testing (PTCRB, FCC, carrier-specific), and connectivity troubleshootingContribute to and help define software development workflows, including version control, continuous integration, and code reviewsGuide board bring-up and protocol stack development, and mentor other engineers on best practices, tooling, and documentationRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldExperience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and/or RTOS environmentsProficiency in C and/or C++ for embedded systems, with experience in low-level hardware bring-up and debuggingSolid understanding of embedded systems architecture, memory management, and peripheral interfacesFamiliarity with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWDAbility to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with cellular modules (e.g., Quectel, Telit Cinterion, Semtech), including AT command sets and network troubleshootingKnowledge of 4G/5G connectivity, eSIM/eUICC integration, SIM interfaces, or GNSS functionalityFamiliarity with Yocto, Linux kernel/device tree customization, secure boot, or FOTA practicesUnderstanding of wireless protocols such as TCP/IP, MQTT, or CoAP in constrained devicesExperience building test harnesses, automated validation frameworks, or manufacturing test developmentStrong communication skills and ability to work independently or lead othersWhat We OfferA dynamic, high-impact role at a growing global company shaping the future of cellular module technologyCompetitive compensation, benefits, and a clear pathway to grow with the companyA collaborative, entrepreneurial team culture where your contributions matterMentorship and support to develop your embedded and wireless expertiseOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted
