In this role, you will provide expert psychiatric care to clients, including conducting mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized and evidence-based care, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as needed. Additionally, you will play an essential role in educating patients and their families on mental health conditions and their management while promoting overall well-being.QualificationsExperience and skills in Mental Health Nursing practicesProven expertise in providing Psychiatric Care and functioning effectively as a Nurse PractitionerStrong knowledge of Mental Health Care practices and the ability to deliver evidence-based treatmentExcellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skillsActive and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of TexasCertification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) preferredExperience working in behavioral health or addiction recovery settings is a plusBachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
