DevOps Developer

Citizenship & Clearance Requirements US Citizenship is required; candidate must be able to pass a federal background check and obtain a public trust clearance. Primary Role: The DevOps Developer position will be in support of a Department of Energy client, with the goal of maintaining, and improving the current CI/CD pipeline. The DevOps Developer will manage software development operations, implement engineering tools, and use their process knowledge to streamline updates or creation. This is a remote position based out of the Washington D.C. metro area. Candidate must live in the United States. Key Responsibilities Ability to deploy database scripts Ability to improve database deployment Provide level 2 technical support Execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately, and securely Develop scripts to automate visualization Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improves processes companywide Ability to integrate CI/CD pipeline with unit testing and static code inspection Experience 10+ years’ experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation Technical experience requirements include Azure, Azure GOV, Azure DevOps, Azure PowerShell, Bash, SonarQube, and Azure Automation, SQL Technical experience preferences include Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket, Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Splunk, Datadog, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Selenium, and Artifactory Education & Certifications B.S. in Business/Technology-related field Key Characteristics IvoryCloud is a purpose-driven enterprise.
