Position SummaryMayzo is seeking a Corporate Account Manager with a strong background in adhesives and sealants to drive new business development and manage key customer relationships across the Eastern region. This role is highly focused on hunting new opportunities, expanding market share, and delivering customized additive solutions within adhesive applications.The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical knowledge and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate customer needs into value-driven solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive New Business and Growth OrientedIdentify, target, and win new business within the adhesives and sealants marketDevelop and execute strategic territory and account plansBuild a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry engagementAccount ManagementManage and grow existing key accounts while expanding product penetrationStrengthen long-term customer relationships and uncover cross-selling opportunitiesTechnical Sales & Solution DevelopmentCollaborate with customers on formulation challenges and performance improvementsRecommend additive solutions (e.g., antioxidants, UV stabilizers, photoinitiators, etc.)Partner with internal technical and product teams to deliver tailored solutionsMarket IntelligenceMonitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in adhesivesProvide insights to support product development and strategic directionCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with marketing, product management, and operations teamsSupport product launches and commercialization effortsTarget Markets / ApplicationsPressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA)Hot melt adhesives (HMA)Structural adhesivesSealants and construction adhesivesRelease CoatsIndustrial and specialty adhesive applicationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (preferred)5–15+ years of experience in adhesives, polymers, or specialty chemicalsProven success in new business developmentStrong understanding of adhesive formulations and additive technologiesAbility to travel 50–60% within US and CanadaExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience selling into CASE markets (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers)Existing network within adhesives manufacturers or formulatorsBackground working with specialty additives or raw materialsSalesforce and CRM, and Microsoft ProductsWhat Success Looks LikeBuilds a strong pipeline within first 90–120 daysSecures new customer wins and expands territory revenueBecomes a trusted advisor to customers on adhesive performance and formulation
