If you want to be part of a collaborative team that values continuous learning, this is the place.What You’ll Be DoingBuild and maintain client websites and web applications across WordPress, Drupal, Webflow, and custom React/front-end solutionsDeliver features independently with minimal supervision, meeting project deadlines and quality standardsCollaborate with project managers, designers, and UX architects to translate creative concepts into functional, performant web experiencesSupport overflow work across multiple client accounts, adapting quickly to different tech stacks and project requirementsWrite clean, well-documented, testable code and participate in code reviewsUse AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and similar) as part of your daily workflow – including knowing when to trust the output, when to verify it, and when to reach for a different approachRecognize patterns in our development process that are worth improving or eliminating, and help implement those changesParticipate in knowledge-sharing sessions on AI-enhanced development techniquesContribute to internal tools, websites, and process improvementsParticipate in documentation efforts and support the team’s standards and tooling decisionsWhat You're Good AtA solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with two or three years of professional experienceExperience with at least one modern front-end framework (React preferred; Vue or similar acceptable)Working knowledge of CMS development (WordPress, Drupal, Webflow, or similar)Comfortable with Git-based workflows and CI/CD conceptsUnderstanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility basicsFamiliarity with REST APIs and integrating third-party servicesActive use of AI coding assistants in your development workflowYou think about your development workflow as a system, and you pay attention to which parts slow you down or repeat themselvesYou have opinions about when AI tools are worth using and when they aren’t, and those opinions come from experience, not assumptionYou can take a feature from requirements to delivery without someone looking over your shoulderWhen you encounter a repetitive task, your instinct is to build something to eliminate it, not get faster at itWhen things are ambiguous, you ask good questions rather than guessingYou write documentation because you understand that future-you (and your teammates) will need itYou can describe the handoffs in your development workflow, not just the code you writeYou communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical colleaguesYou are comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environmentWhat You Have In Your BackgroundTwo or three years of professional application development experience (agency experience preferred but not required)Portfolio or code samples demonstrating front-end and full-stack workExperience delivering projects on deadline with real client or stakeholder accountabilityPreferred: experience with CMS development (WordPress, Drupal, Webflow, etc.)Preferred: exposure to .NET or other enterprise framework environmentsPreferred: experience with banner/display advertising production (HTML5, Google Ads)Preferred: familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimizationPreferred: familiarity with database solutions and SQL (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
