Commercial Real Estate Attorney

Boutique Fort Worth Commercial Real Estate law firm has an opening for a real estate attorney. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience facilitating commercial acquisitions and dispositions, including title and survey analysis, preparation of closing documents, and lease review.The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment and makes decisions from a fact-based and informed position with the ability to work well under pressure. S/he will possess outstanding skills of influence and diplomacy in a challenging and fast-paced environment.The real estate attorney is responsible for coordination, management, and supervision of all aspects of real estate transactions. This position requires client contact and significant communication with title companies.Responsibilities: ·  Draft, review and negotiate documentation for real estate acquisition and disposition transactions including purchase agreements, leases, amendments, easements, rights-of-way, and closing documents.·   Conduct title and survey review/analysis for real estate transactions.·   Corporate support including forming entities, company agreements, partnership agreements and similar commercial agreements.·   Maintain up-to-date time reports to ensure accurate client billing.·   Maintain electronic matter files per firm procedures.·   Perform various special projects and other functions as needed.·   Review and analyze commercial leases and prepare lease abstracts.·  Maintain correspondence between each participating party of the transaction to facilitate transaction closings, such as the client and title companies, lenders, etc.Qualifications/Competencies:·    J.D. degree from an accredited law school·    Licensed to practice law in Texas·    2-5 years of experience in real estate law·    Strong ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.·    Expert Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook·    Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and move quickly from one assignment to another and take responsibility for projects from inception to completion.·    Effective time management skills·   Strong interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy to maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of attorneys, clients, and outside contacts.·    Positive attitude and strong work ethic.·   Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.·    Detail oriented with active listening skills.·    Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities/resourcefulness.·    Consistent follow-through and ability/flexibility to multi-task and effectively balance priorities and meet tight deadlines.·    Ability to maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality in all client and Firm matters.Schedule:·    Monday through Friday, 8 hours/day.
