Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Elmore, Ohio (100% Onsite – 5 days/week) Duration: 10–12+ months Rate: DOE Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card required Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and resolve customer quality issues using structured root cause analysis methodologiesCollaborate with internal teams and customers to implement corrective and preventive actionsSupport and maintain compliance with quality standards such as ISO9001, AS9100D, and ISO17025Participate in internal and external audits, documentation control, and calibration activitiesWork cross-functionally to improve manufacturing processes, yield, and efficiencyUtilize ETQ (Enterprise Quality Management System) for tracking and managing quality processesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the facilityTrain team members on quality processes and best practices as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field3+ years of experience in a metals or materials production environmentHands-on experience with quality management systems (QMS)Experience with the ETQ system (mandatory)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines
