Volunteer: Give a Ride, help a NE neighbor

Metropolitan Family Service (MFS) volunteers serve in various capacities, depending on their areas of interest and abilities. Volunteers participate in on-going opportunities in one of three focus areas helping children succeed, strengthening families and their connections to the community, and helping older adults and persons with disabilities live independently. We create opportunities that bridge generations and inspire everyone to live their best life.,Older adults in our N and NE Portland community need short rides to get around. With YOUR HELP older adults can continue to live in their homes and/or stay active in the community. You can volunteer once a month or several times a week. It may only take 20 minutes, but it makes a huge difference. We provide the training and do all the coordinating - you just let us know when you are available, and we let you know who needs a ride and to where! You can use your car our one of our vehicles. This is a volunteer opportunity provided by VolunteerMatch, in partnership with LinkedIn for Good.
