3rd Assistant EngineerJob SummaryWe are seeking a 3rd Assistant Engineer to play a critical role in supporting marine operations by assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of a vessel's engine room machinery.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on engines, generators, boilers, pumps, and other mechanical and electrical systems.Monitor engine performance and assist in troubleshooting malfunctions or abnormal conditions, reporting issues to senior engineers for resolution.Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies during maintenance and repair operations.Assist in managing fuel and lubrication oil transfers, maintaining accurate logs and records.Monitor and maintain engine room cleanliness and safety, including ensuring that all systems are secured when necessary.Maintain inventory of spare parts and ensure the availability of critical equipment for ongoing vessel operations.Collaborate with deck crew and other personnel to ensure efficient communication between engineering and operational teams.Participate in drills, safety meetings, and training sessions to stay up-to-date with emergency procedures and safety regulations.RequirementsUp-to-date resumeUSCG MMCUSCG Medical CertificateTWICUS Passport or government-issued ID
