HVAC Service Technician (Multiple Openings)South Miami, FL | Permanent | $25 – $30/hr DOE + BenefitsWe are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support expanding commercial service operations throughout South Florida. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a technician with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience working on commercial HVAC equipment in office buildings, retail centers, industrial facilities, and other commercial properties.This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, diagnose issues efficiently, and provide high-quality service in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systemsDiagnose electrical, mechanical, airflow, and controls-related issuesPerform preventative maintenance on rooftop units (RTUs), package units, split systems, air handlers, and exhaust systemsReplace motors, belts, contactors, capacitors, compressors, and other HVAC componentsPerform refrigerant recovery, charging, leak detection, and pressure checksTroubleshoot thermostats, sensors, and building control systemsRepair or modify commercial ductwork and ventilation systemsConduct airflow balancing and system performance testingRead blueprints, layouts, and equipment schematicsComplete service documentation and communicate findings clearlyEnsure all work complies with safety standards and local codesQualificationsMinimum 5+ years of HVAC experienceStrong commercial HVAC service experience requiredExperience servicing RTUs, package units, split systems, chill water / larger tonnage systems preferredSkilled in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues independentlyExperience performing PMs, repairs, and equipment replacementsAbility to read schematics and basic blueprintsEPA Certification preferredValid driver’s license requiredProfessional communication and customer service skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceCompany vehicle provided for most techniciansImmediate reimbursement for job-related purchases via bank transferOvertime opportunities available for additional earningsStable, full-time work with consistent project flowWork EnvironmentField-based role across residential homes, commercial buildings, and job sitesMix of independent work and team-based projectsFast-paced, hands-on environment with strong operational support MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
