YThe ideal candidate will have a background in various areas of civil litigation defense, including but not limited to Medical Malpractice Defense, Products Liability, Professional Liability, General Liability and Premises Liability Defense, Commercial, Business, Construction, and Employment Litigation. If you have 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolutionConduct thorough legal research and analysisDraft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefsRepresent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediation sessionsCollaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trialsMaintain accurate case files and documentation in compliance with legal standardsCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officialsStay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to civil litigationQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD)Active license to practice in the state of Massachusetts3+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in defenseExcellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentBenefitsIn this role you will enjoy a competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 - $130,000.00 per year.
