Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving two school sites in Americus, GA. This travel opportunity involves working with both middle school and high school caseloads from August 3, 2026, through June 2, 2027. The role emphasizes providing comprehensive psychological services including evaluations, assessments, participation in IEP meetings, thorough documentation, and other related duties to support student success.Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for middle and high school studentsCollaborate with educators, parents, and administrators during IEP meetings to develop and implement appropriate interventionsMaintain detailed documentation and records in compliance with regulatory requirementsProvide consultation and support to school staff to address student behavioral and academic challengesParticipate in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in school psychologyDesired Qualifications:Valid Georgia School Psychologist CertificationExperience working with middle and high school student populationsStrong knowledge of educational assessments and special education regulationsEffective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholdersAbility to manage a full caseload across multiple school sites in a travel assignmentLocation & Schedule:Americus, GAFull-time position spanning two school sites (middle and high school)School year assignment: 08/03/2026 to 06/02/2027Benefits:ProCare comprehensive insurance including medical, dental, vision, and life coverageMatching 401(k) retirement planFlexible Spending Account optionsWeekly pay schedule with highly competitive compensationThis position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic and emotional well-being within a supportive environment.
