Clinician, OARS
Position Title: Outpatient Addiction and Recovery Services Clinician
The Dimock Centers innovative behavioral health program is hiring a substance use disorder clinician for its integrated Outpatient Addiction and Recovery Service (OARS). The individual should be a licensed social worker (LICSW) or licensed mental health clinician (LMHC), or on the pathway to obtaining these degrees (LCSW, MSW, MA). The OARS clinician reports to the Program Manager of OARS and the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Integration.
As a full and integrated member of the Adult Medicine Clinic, the clinician will work with fellow clinicians, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, nurses and resource specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients, including by:
Caring for patients in our Structured Outpatient Addictions Program (SOAP)
Leading group therapy sessions in SOAP and our general outpatient addictions clinic
Using evidenced-based techniques to provide short and long-term individual therapy
Conducting and documenting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations with clients
Providing case management, working with our team of resource specialists
Collaborating in-person with the larger behavioral health and medical team
Conducting warm hand-offs with primary care physicians about substance use needs
Learning and participating in trainings and quality improvement activities
