Lab Assistant / Lab Technician

Job Description TTI Environmental Laboratories is an ISO 9001/14001/17025 and NELAC-certified analytical testing laboratory serving environmental, industrial, and research clients since 1989. We are hiring a Lab Assistant/Lab Technician to join our Arlington, TX team in a full-time, in-person role supporting day-to-day laboratory operations.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional or recent science graduate to gain hands-on experience in a compliance-driven, professional laboratory environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform environmental and analytical laboratory tests following established protocols and safety guidelinesPrepare reagents, manage sample intake, and maintain chain-of-custody documentationConduct quality control assessments to ensure sample integrity and accuracy of test resultsMaintain precise records of all procedures, observations, and data in accordance with ISO and NELAC standardsOperate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipmentSupport senior lab staff with ongoing testing projects and client sample analysisRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a compliance-driven environmentAbility to follow detailed written protocols while maintaining safety and quality standardsEffective communication skills for documentation and team coordinationReliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred (Not Required)Prior experience in an environmental, industrial, or research laboratory settingFamiliarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)Background in environmental science, chemistry, biology, or a related fieldUnderstanding of ISO or NELAC quality standardsCompensation & BenefitsPay: $25–$35/hour depending on experienceFull benefits: Health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO, paid sick time, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, professional development assistanceSchedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/weekBackground check required Company Description**DO NOT CONTACT TTI AND CEO/OWER DIRECTLY** You will not be consideredTTI Environmental Laboratories is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, and NELAC-certified analytical and environmental testing laboratory headquartered in Arlington, Texas.
