The Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of matrimonial and family law matters and play a key role in case preparation, document production and client communication.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport attorneys in all aspects of matrimonial and family law casesDraft correspondence and prepare legal documents, including divorce documents and family court petitionsMust be proficient with NYSCEF, e-filing and e-CourtsMust be proficient with LexisNexis researchManage discovery, including document collection, organization and compliance with discovery ordersPrepare trial notebooksProcess subpoenas and authorizationsCommunicate with clients, courts, and opposing counselAssist with scheduling, case tracking, and general office supportShare telephone responsibilities and manage client intake communicationsQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of law office experience (required)Paralegal certificate preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional telephone demeanorAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSpanish-speaking is a plusCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $55,000 – $90,000 per year (commensurate with experience)Health insurancePaid time offSchedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time, Monday to FridayIn-person role based in White Plains, NY (10601)Additional InformationOnly applicants who submit a resume will be consideredPosition available for immediate start
