Pride Health is seeking a Research Associate III for an American biotechnology corporation in Tucson, AZ. Job Title: Research Associate III – Investigation / Sustainability (On-Market Support)Location: Tucson, AZ 85755 (on-site)Job Type: ContractLength: 12-MonthsHours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours/dayPay Rate: $32 - $34 per hourSummary:Individual contributor responsible for project providing support for a wide variety PCQT (Product Care and Quality Team) projectsPerforms reagent-based or assay-based investigations to address reagent quality, performance or compliance on-market product issuesScope includes primary stains, advanced staining reagents, special stains, and bulk reagents used for automated H&E, IHC (immunohistochemistry) and ISH (in-situ hybridization) applicationsWorks collaboratively across functions including Global Operations or Manufacturing, Complaint Investigation and Resolution, Global Customer Support, Lifecycles, Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, and Global organizationsResponsibilities:Designs a wide range of experimental protocolsExecutes bench experiments; makes detailed and general observations and analyzes dataPrepares technical reports, summaries and quantitative analysesMaintains complete and accurate recordsNormally receives general directions on routine and new assignmentsIdentifies and implements improvements to work processes and laboratory environmentWorks on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factorsExercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsParticipates in cross functional technical teams such as a failure investigation or core teamWorks well in a team environment by being a productive project team member, suggesting creative solutions to problems and providing input to project planningEstablishes interfaces across other organizational groupsTroubleshoots problems and institutes corrective actionPrepares and presents experimental procedures and results in group and project teamsMonitors work to ensure quality, and continuously promote Quality First TimeRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Science (MCB, Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, etc.)4 years relevant job experience.Preferences:Direct wet lab experience, preferably with IHC, histology, or tissue diagnosticsExperience in root-cause analysis, investigation, and issue resolution for products and processes in a research and development settingFamiliarity and experience working within regulated quality systems, including processes for Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) and Non-Conformance Reports (Client)Previous manufacturing or product development experienceExperience with ADO (Azure DevOps) or Agile methodologiesBenefits that Pride Health offers:Pride Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), a 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with some preferred vendors.
