Upgrading Section Leader

POSITION TITLE: Upgrading Section Leader - (Multiple Openings)EMPLOYER: Egger Wood Products LLCLOCATION: 300 Egger Parkway, Linwood, NC 27299 (Davidson county)DUTIES:Conduct regular assessments of operational processes to identify areas for enhancement and efficiency.Serve as the primary contact for supervisors, providing clear directives and guidance.Provide guidance to supervisors on non-routine work procedures and newly implemented processes to ensure understanding and compliance across the team.Monitor and maintain production, consumption and scrap data in all Areas of Upgrading (LAM, IMP, Kontra Saw, Schelling).Monitor and analyze the KPIs of the department to ensure that volume requirements are effectively achieved and maintained.Coordinate production schedules in collaboration with Planning Department.Coordinate maintenance and process improvements projects.Oversee and coordinate planned maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to established timelines.Support the maintenance team during the startup phase following maintenance days to ensure a smooth transition to production and address any immediate issues that may arise.Maintain and add reported technical issues in SAP FEP (PM10 maintenance requests and scheduling).Maintain inventory of secondary materials.Actual Employer & Location: Egger Wood Products LLC, 300 Egger Parkway, Linwood, NC 27299REQUIREMENTS:Five (5) years of relevant work experience as Process Operator Impregnation, Stacker Impregnation, Machine Operator Impregnation, Shift Supervisor impregnation, or related.Applicant must have 5 years’ experience with the following:VITS Impregnation LinesKontra conveyor systemsIFA mixing system for resinsShear cutting systemresin blendingSAP Systems for orders and inventory controlsoftware applications: MES, SAP, EWM, EQS and SPLUNK TO APPLY: Visit https://www.egger.com/en/career/?country=US Your Chances And BenefitsTraining and DevelopmentHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance401k Retirement PlanPaid Vacation and HolidaysYour ContactAllyson Davenport, HRAbout UsWe create more from wood.
