Here are the job position details for your review: Job Title: Scientist (formulations) Pay Rate: $30 to $40/HR Duration: 12 months Location: Darien, CT Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM We are looking for a Scientist (formulations). The role of the temporary scientist – hair color is to assist hair color scientists in developing new hair color formulations. This will involve problem-solving, lab batching, analysis, and testing. The scientist should competently understand the test methods required to deliver a quality product and conduct laboratory experiments. Prepare lab batches for hair color applications and conduct testing to verify release criteria. Conduct stability and efficacy testing including detailing experiments, analysis, and summary of results. Maintain documentation of lab results, conclusions, and next steps. Qualifications: BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience. Prior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation. Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude. Strong communication and analytical skills. Quick learner.
