Infant/Toddler Teacher

Preschool/Infant facility in Chatsworth is looking for full time teacher. Our stimulating and engaging staff members provide quality care to each child. Qualified candidates will assist in the following:Plans and implements educational curriculum for infants, toddlers and preschool children, which reflects developmental, cultural, and linguistic appropriateness.Records observations, shares information about the child with his/her parent(s) and/or staff and plans with them on how best to meet the child's needs.Cultivate positive relationships with other staff, children, and parents.Create a fun and safe learning environmentDevelop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtimeCommunicate with parents on students' growth and progressMaintain the health and safety of all studentsPotty train children if needed.Be able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 70lbs.Qualifications: .Must have completed 12 semester units of Early Childhood Development education and have experience working with infants or toddlers.Should be able to work full time.Pass Live Scan fingerprinting background check; Proof of TB Test.Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)At least 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare settingAt least 1 year experience Potty training in a licensed childcare settingPassionate about working with childrenAbility to work with 12 childrenPositive and patient demeanorExcellent written and verbal communication skills
