Job SummaryAssists the HS Band Font/Color Guard Instructor with the teaching of music and art of performing to a small or full group of students throughout the Marching Band season.Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesAssist with the organization, management, teaching, and supervising students in the art of body movement, dance, and field guard equipment including rifles, sabers, silks, swing flags, and other props.Assist with the writing and teaching of band front and color guard routines.Assists with the planning and supervision of rehearsals in conjunction with, and in addition to, rehearsals on the calendar issued by the director.Assists other members of the band staff in teaching drill and supervising students at rehearsals and performances.Performs other duties as assigned by the administration.Education And ExperienceOther education/experience as accepted by the school board and administration
