Substitute Teacher

Position: Substitute TeacherReports to: Head of Lower SchoolPay: $30.00 per hour, up to $225 per day for a 7.5 hour dayBlack Pine Circle School is currently hiring educators to work with children ages 5–13.Substitute teachers will be required to execute lesson plans left by head teachers and/or assistant teachers in a supportive role. In addition, substitute teachers will be required to perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to: recess and lunch coverage; other subject coverages; copying; and prepping materials. All substitute teachers will be asked to complete an observation form at the end of each day they are substituting. Requirements: Love and enjoy working with children; have experience working with children in groupsFlexible, adaptable, sense of humor; willingness to jump right inCreative, kind, and humbleDesire to help children learn and grow; belief in positive discipline Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or universityCA teaching credential is preferredComplete CA and FBI live scan background check TB Risk Assessment.
