Job Title: Mainframe DevOps Migration ConsultantLocation: RemoteDuration: 12+ MonthsJob Description We are seeking a skilled Software Change Management (SCM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support application migration projects utilizing IBM’s DBB/Git/IDD Solutions. The SME will play a key role in guiding clients through the Endevor (and other SCMs) DBB/GIT/IDD conversion process, providing technical expertise, hands‑on migration support, and training delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong z/OS and mainframe background, experience in application development or system programming, and proven customer‑facing and troubleshooting skills in migration environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support (CA-Endevor) SCMs to DBB/GIT/IDD migration projectArticulate a strategic vision for modernizing IBM's Git/DBB solution with clear business benefitsArchitect DevOps pipeline using Git, IBM DBB for intelligent mainframe builds, and automated deploymentAssess current legacy SCM workflows and design a migration path to Git with IBM DBBPerform installation, configuration, and problem determination for DBB/GIT/IDD on customer systemAnalyze, convert, and validate Endevor applicationProvide technical support and troubleshooting DBB/GIT/IDD‑related issuesConduct customer training sessions and develop presentation materials for DBB/Git/IDD and migration processesCollaborate with IBM teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project deliveryDocument migration processes, best practices, and technical resolutionsMandatory SkillsClear, concise communication skillsAbility to articulate the Git/DBB lifecycleStrong Application Development or System Programmer backgroundProven installation and migration experience on IBM z/OS and UnixExcellent customer interfacing and communication skillsSolid problem determination and troubleshooting ability related to Git/DBB/IDD/WebProficiency in the followingipsGIT experienceenceReposPipeline – ability to debug what pipeline/builds failBranch managementMentTraining & Knowledge TransferAbility to conduct DBB/Git/IDD/Wazi training sessionsExperience preparing and delivering technical presentations using Microsoft Word and other standard toolsAbility to assist clients in diagnosing and fixing conversion‑related errorsEducation and ExperienceExperience: Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experienceExperience: 8+ years as a Systems Programmer or other similar positionExperience: 4+ years of customer‑facing consulting experienceDevelopment, application lifecycle, or change management experience is a plusOptional SkillsStrong analytical and organizational skillsHands‑on experience in mainframe modernization, SCM, DBB/GIT/IDDSelf‑motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a global team#J-18808-Ljbffr
