We have an exciting locum tenens opportunity for a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist in the upstate New York area, near Dryden . This position requires a skilled physician to provide high-quality care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be available for several upcoming dates in late 2024 and have a valid New York medical license. Position Details: Location: Near Dryden, NY Start Date: November 8, 2024 Duration: Ongoing Shifts: 24-hour call, Monday to Sunday Weekend Requirements: Yes On-Call Requirements: 24-hour call coverage Specific Dates Needed: 11/08/24 - 11/15/24 (7 AM to 7 AM) 11/25/24 - 12/09 23/24 - 12/29/24 Key Responsibilities: Acute care management in a hospital setting Provide gastroenterology services and take call during shifts ERPC experience is a plus but not required Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care Facility Information: Trauma Level: Level 3 EMR System: eClinicalWorks (OP) and Quadramed (IP) Credentialing timeframe: 4-6 weeks (emergency privileges available) Credentialing costs not covered Requirements: Board Certification in Gastroenterology Required Active New York State medical license Required BLS and ACLS certifications Required Ability to provide references, NPI/license information, and malpractice documentation This is an excellent opportunity for locum physicians looking to work in a dynamic environment and enjoy the scenic beauty of upstate New York.
