This role leads day-to-day school operations while driving strategic planning, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will ensure the institution operates efficiently, effectively, and in full compliance with state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement short- and long-term strategies aligned with the school’s mission and goalsOversee daily operations to meet benchmarks established by state, federal, and accrediting agenciesCompile, analyze, and communicate operational and performance data to assess school needsCreate and manage the school’s budget, including revenue and expense controlsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areasCollaborate with Fedcap leadership on campus expansion planningLead recruitment efforts in partnership with Fedcap Human Resources and Talent AcquisitionEnsure all regulatory documentation, processes, and procedures are properly maintainedFoster a collaborative, respectful, and student-centered learning environmentDevelop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersReport to the Vice President and participate in scheduled leadership meetingsEnsure effective communication across faculty, staff, and stakeholdersCollaborate with Fedcap IT to maintain adequate technology infrastructure and user supportOversee records management and compliance reporting per federal, state, and local requirementsLead and motivate staff and faculty to achieve organizational goals aligned with the school’s missionComplete professional development training to remain current on regulations and standardsDrive the IAIP plan for the branch campus in collaboration with the Main CampusEnsure the Dean of Education has appropriate resources to lead academic programsEnsure no operational, staffing, or procedural changes are made without Vice President approval.Compensation$85,000 to $95,000EducationBachelor’s degree or higher (required)ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of leadership experience in vocational or career training school administrationDemonstrated experience working with regulatory agencies, including state departments of education, accrediting bodies, and federal regulatorsProven experience in budget management and financial oversightKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of clock-hour career school models and applicable regulationsUnderstanding of educational best practicesExcellent organizational, project planning, and analytical skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsProven ability to supervise, motivate, and develop staffEffective problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsAbility to work with diverse staff and student populationsAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlinesDemonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Apex Technical SchoolThe Fedcap Group provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status
