Director, Salesforce Delivery

DescriptionAs a Director, Salesforce Delivery, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, delivery, and ongoing optimization of the organization's Salesforce platform and related ecosystem. Your role will include overseeing a team of Salesforce Administrators, developers, architects, and delivery managers to ensure high-quality solutions that enable business functions. The leader partners with business stakeholders translate strategic priorities into delivery roadmap, ensuring Salesforce capabilities to drive measurable business outcomes.Your responsibilities will include:Define and execute the multi-year Salesforce platform strategy aligned with business objectives.Lead the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce initiatives including enhancements, integrations, and new capabilities.Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Salesforce delivery team including admins, developers, analysts, and architects.Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other business systems and ensure successful system upgrades and updates.Serve as the primary IT leader supporting Salesforce-enabled business capabilities.Establish and maintain Salesforce governance including architecture standards, development practices, and security controls.Ensure consistent delivery practices, including backlog management, sprint planning, and release governance.Partner with business leaders to understand priorities and translate them into technical solutions.RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.7+ years of experience in Salesforce Administration.5+ years of leadership experience managing delivery teams.Significant hands-on experience with Salesforce platform capabilities.Experience delivering Salesforce solutions in complex enterprise environments.Experience with multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud).Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks.Experience managing vendor and implementation partner relationships.Pay and Benefits Summary:Our benefits include:An excellent schedule - office closes at 1 p.m. every FridayAnnual profit sharing401(k) with company match with discretionary contributionCompany-sponsored group medical and dental insuranceCompany-paid life insuranceCompany-paid long-term disabilityHybrid work environmentPaid holidaysGenerous vacation time and sick leavePaid parental leaveCasual dress year-roundAbout Homesteaders:Homesteaders Life Company, a mutual company owned by its policy holders, is a national leader providing products and services to help people design a better farewell.
