Job Overview Guan's Mushroom is looking for an experienced Truck Driver / Warehouse Associate to make daily deliveries to customers throughout the local area. This position does not require a CDL, and there are no overnight trips. Drivers operate a 26-foot bobtail truck and are responsible for safely transporting fresh products while providing excellent customer service. This is a hybrid position. Drivers will be on the road Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and will assist with warehouse operations Tuesday, Thursday, and rotating Saturdays. A minimum of six (6) months of experience driving a 26-foot bobtail truck or similar commercial vehicle is required. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused, with a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a commitment to punctuality. They must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse and delivery environment. Responsibilities Safely transport finished goods to customers throughout the local area. Load, transport, and unload deliveries in a safe and timely manner. Verify delivery paperwork and customer orders for accuracy. Collect delivery signatures and maintain accurate delivery records. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Report vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations immediately. Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle. Warehouse Assist with picking and preparing customer orders. Stage orders for delivery and shipment. Load and unload trucks safely. Operate warehouse equipment, including electric pallet jacks and forklifts. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization. Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment. Work safely in refrigerated and cold storage environments. Driving Qualifications Minimum six (6) months of experience driving a 26-foot bobtail truck or similar commercial vehicle is required. Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record is required. No CDL required. Safe driving record with no recent moving violations. Knowledge of applicable traffic laws and commercial driving regulations. Ability to safely maneuver delivery vehicles in customer locations, loading docks, and warehouse environments. Strong customer service, communication, and time management skills. Warehouse Qualifications Previous experience handling fresh produce is required. Previous experience working in a refrigerated or cold storage warehouse is required. Electric pallet jack experience is required. Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, order selecting, or produce distribution experience is preferred. Forklift experience and/or certification is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods. Ability to work in refrigerated and cold storage environments for extended periods.
