HVAC Technical Support

F.W. Webb, Northeast’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time HVAC Technical Support for it's West Babylon location. Responsibilities: Field technical support phone calls from both contractors and FW Webb employees Maintain a broad knowledge of both commercial and residential HVAC systems Job site visits as required to field support our contractors with trouble shooting Assisting with job site start-ups as needed Must be capable of going up on roofs with contractors Willingness to travel as needed Participate in company and factory provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies. Ability to deliver technical training in a classroom environment Qualifications: 10 years of HVAC residential and commercial service experience Complete understanding of refrigerant circuits and basic electric Strong trouble shooting skills to include electrical and mechanical systems Good interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task Must possess a high level of customer service Able to work within a team environment Strong PC skills including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, and our CRM EPA certification required Ability to travel to Long Island & throughout the 5 boroughs Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Ability to Commute: West Babylon, NY 11704 (Required) Ability to Relocate: West Babylon, NY 11704: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
