Staff Accountant

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to manage key general ledger functions and ensure the integrity of financial records. Key Responsibilities Oversee the Fixed Asset lifecycle, including acquisitions and disposals Maintain the Insurance Accounting manual and ensure compliance with company policy Execute month-end close journal entries and assist in preparing financial statements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience 3 - 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytical support roles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets with a solid understanding of accounting principles Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information Experience with accounting software and bank account reconciliation is a plus
