Overview In this role, you will support on-site deployment and go-live testing of secure network solutions for federal, local, and commercial clients. You’ll work with the SES team to survey sites, configure infrastructure, and execute hands-on deployments, while documenting revisions for future improvements. Expect extensive travel and 100% on-site work at customer facilities, under strict security guidelines. You’ll help ensure resilient, secure networks across multi-enclave environments and DoD-aligned operations. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive salarymedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurancepaid time offtuition reimbursement401k Retirement Planmilitary reserve pay offset ResponsibilitiesSupport pre-installation, deployment, and go-live testing with the O&M Network EngineerConduct on-site network surveys and assist in infrastructure configuration and testingPerform hands-on deployment at customer sites and ensure proper documentation/revisionsProvide feedback for deployment improvements to the O&M EngineerConfigure and troubleshoot network equipment; manage changes via CLIDevelop network diagrams, rack elevations, and cable drawingsConfigure networks per DoD security policy and safeguard multi-enclave environmentsInstall routers, switches, firewalls, and encryption appliancesUnderstand and apply networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, MPLS, QoS)Travel domestically and internationally to customer facilitiesMaintain strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders Key requirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline7+ years progressive experienceStrong communication skills and ticketing experienceDoD 8140 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification Certification for Intermediate level Network Operations Specialist (DCWF Code 441)Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport for international travelAbility to identify cable colors, markings or labelsDetail orientedExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleaguesNetwork equipment deployment and configuration (CLI)WAN technology and troubleshooting various circuit typesLayer 1 technologies including cables and media converters
