Nutrition Services Manager, RD

Regents Point, a 5-Star HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in Irvine, CA, is seeking a full-time Nutrition Services Manager, RD.Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Typical start time is between 8:30am and 9:00am, with occasional need to start earlier or later based on operational needs. Occasional weekends as required)Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000/year (DOE)The Nutrition Services Manager, RD promotes health and wellness in an effort to prevent disease. The Nutrition Services Manager, RD supports dining activities and departmental functions to assure that the delivery of nutritional care effectively and efficiently meets the needs of residents.Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Working at the heart of our interdisciplinary team to support residents' health, independence, and joyDeveloping care plans and partnering with the Executive Chef and nursing teamBeing the trusted voice on all things nutrition, making sure residents' needs, preferences, and dignity come firstProviding medical nutrition therapy, including assessment, care planning, diet modification, and education for residents and familiesIdentifying and managing residents at nutritional risk, including IDDSI compliance and tube feeding oversightCompleting MDS Section K and ensure accurate, timely documentation in PCCLeading and supporting QAPI initiatives; track, trend, and report outcomesEnsuring compliance with federal, state, and accrediting regulatory agenciesCollaborating with Dining, Culinary, SLP, Nursing, and Activities teams to deliver resident-centered careManaging diet changes, tray card updates, and menu distribution; overseeing food safety, nourishment areas, emergency supplies, supplements, and HACCP documentationConducting audits to maintain survey readiness and quality standardsPerforming other related duties as requiredTo be successful in the role, you would have:Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) - requiredLicensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable - requiredBachelor's degree in nutrition/dietetics; successful completion of Dietetic Internship or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of clinical experience within a senior living environmentServsafe Management CertificationCurrent or prior supervisory experience preferredWhat's in it for you?As the largest nonprofit owner/operator of senior living communities in California and one of the largest in the country, we are more than just a place to work.
