Our values-Execute, Protect, Improve, and Character-drive every job we do.The Role:The Plumbing Mechanic is responsible for assisting the job site crew with the installation of plumbing systems that bring the building to life. Job sites will vary amongst commercial projects throughout the area. Projects will mainly consist of K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings.What You'll Do:Thorough knowledge of the plumbing trade including layout, install (under and/or above ground)Experience installing fixturesExperience seeing installs from start to finishAbility to read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprintsWork as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprenticesMust be open to helping other mechanical trades as neededMust be dependable and willing to complete a project from start to finishMust have a valid driver's license and dependable transportationYou Bring:High School Diploma or equivalentVocational school or prior training preferred.Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to safety and following established protocols.Benefits That Matter:Weekly paychecks: $25-$35/hr. based on experience and skill set.100% employee owned; earn stock and profit-sharing bonuses401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, vision, short-and long-term disability and life insuranceSupplemental medical insurancePaternity and maternity leavePaid vacation & holidays including a safety incentive plan to earn more PTOPaid M-Power volunteer hours to service communityCareer growth & training opportunitiesSee more at our website .
