BRANCH MANAGER - I
The Branch Manager oversees branch operations to meet goals and objectives for store sales, profitability, and customer experience. The role is responsible for building customer relationships and driving the outside sales function. The Branch Manager maximizes operational performance through expert inventory management and leading team members in the areas of counter sales and warehouse support. This leader demonstrates executive level administrative, marketing, training, and coaching skills. They also provide program management and leadership in key functional areas of sales, operations, merchandising and promotion functions within the organization.

Essential Functions:
Oversee branch operations on a daily basis
Primarily responsible for increasing sales and profitability, as well as driving efficiencies
Assist counter and warehouse team as needed to serve customers and provide solutions
Respond to customer inquiries on products, applications and research that may be required
Establishes, communicates, and models performance expectations for all store team members
Create goals for store performance and individual goals. Ensures performance and goal expectations are met by monitoring reports, meeting with employees on a regular basis to provide feedback, and observing performance
Holds individual performance and coaching discussions
Takes corrective action and recognizes and rewards employees as needed
Ensures team members are up to date and knowledgeable regarding store operations, policy changes, company changes, etc. by holding regular meetings and communicating safety rules
Conducts recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes to attract and retain qualified candidates
Ensures adequate staffing levels to meet business needs by establishing work schedules and managing time off requests
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to effectively lead a team and demonstrate best practices to achieve company objectives
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage priorities
Ability to effectively train and coach employees
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail orientated approach.
General knowledge of inventory systems (knowledge of RF based systems a plus)
Knowledge of wholesale distribution store operations preferred
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or a GED required and a Vocational School Degree/Certificate, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
One to three years of experience and/or training, or combination of education and experience
Physical Demands of the Job:
Standing and walking majority of the day
Occasionally lifting, moving, carrying up to 100 pounds
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
