Part-time Pharmacist

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Quick Rx Pharmacy is looking to hire a Part-time Pharmacist for our Brooklyn location. We are working as part of a coordinated care team partnered with community-based health centers and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients with complex health conditions get the medications they need in a timely fashion and can follow their treatment plans. Location(s)/Hours of operation : Brooklyn, NY 11224 / Saturday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Thursday and Tuesday 9am -5 pm We are seeking a part-time Pharmacist to support and manage all functions of daily pharmacy operations. Job Duties / Responsibilities: Review and execute physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality Verify preparation/labeling and Quality Assurance of medications dispensed Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and healthcare professionals Help maintain a clean & organized work environment Take and enter prescription orders into the pharmacy software system Ensure an effective and efficient workflow throughout the pharmacy Patient Counseling Comprehensive Drug Utilization Review and Monitoring for Specialty Drugs and the Advanced Disease States Complies with ALL state and federal laws Other duties as assigned by the management team Required Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years experience as a Retail Pharmacist Minimum 1+ years of Micro-Merchant experience Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree Must have an active pharmacy license in the state of New York Not on the DEA, OIG, GSA Excluded Parties List No prior or pending felony charges/convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills QuickRx | Specialty Pharmacy (quickrxspecialty.pharmacy) Job Type: Part-time Schedule: Every Saturday 9am-3pm Education: Bachelor's (Required) License/Certification: NYS Pharmacist License (Required) Job Type: Contract Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Micro Merchant: 1 year (Preferred) Language: Russian or Spanish (Preferred) Work Location: In person
