Position Type: Full time, salaried with benefits. Position Description: This position is for entry through mid-level Mechanical Engineer responsible for the evaluation, design and development of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning, and plumbing systems for commercial office, institutional, and light industrial facilities. Position includes detailed coordination of the mechanical and plumbing equipment selections with the electrical department, working with the senior engineers in conceptual design development, performing system design calculations, visiting project sites, documenting existing conditions, and working directly with clients. Qualifications: BSME Registered EIT preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred Superior written and verbal communication skills Highly motivated and eager to learn Extremely organized and able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously US Citizenship required Mid-level candidates shall have 7-10 years of applicable experience, proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit, Licensed Professional Engineer preferred. Candidate shall be competent in conventional aspects of mechanical engineering for building systems, including the analysis, design and documentation of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, laboratory and process piping and controls for a variety of building types.
