Payroll Manager Location: St. Joseph County, IndianaSalary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 annuallySchedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMWork Environment: 100% On-Site Payroll Manager – Overview We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee wages. The Payroll Manager will manage payroll systems, maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, and work closely with HR and accounting teams to support the organization’s payroll functions.The ideal Payroll Manager will bring strong leadership, attention to detail, and experience managing payroll processes in a fast-paced environment. Payroll Manager – Responsibilities Manage the full payroll cycle including weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll processingEnsure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductionsMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsOversee payroll tax filings and ensure timely paymentsManage payroll records, reporting, and reconciliationRespond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepanciesCoordinate with HR regarding employee data, benefits, and compensation updatesPrepare payroll reports for leadership and finance teamsSupport audits and maintain payroll documentation and complianceIdentify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiencies Payroll Manager – Qualifications 5+ years of payroll experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory roleStrong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirementsExperience managing full-cycle payroll for multi-employee organizationsProficiency in payroll systems and HRIS platformsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilities Preferred Experience Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, UKG, or WorkdayCPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certificationExperience in manufacturing, healthcare, or multi-location organizationsClick here to apply online
