Java Full-Stack Engineer
Role: Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with strong Angular (v17+), Java Spring Boot, and hands on SQL Server expertise for enterprise scale applications.Experience: - 9+ YearsLocation: - Chicago, IL -3 days/week USAResponsibilities: -Own Design, develop, and maintain enterprise grade full stack applications using Angular (v17+) and Java (Spring Boot)Own end to end feature development, from UI design and API implementation to database optimization and production deploymentWrite and optimize complex SQL Server queries, indexes, and stored procedures with a strong focus on performance tuningCollaborate with architects and senior engineers to define application architecture and technical standardsActively participate in architecture discussions, explaining design decisions, trade offs, and scalability considerationsEnsure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve production issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.Educational Qualifications: -Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.Skills: -Mandatory Skills7+ years of overall full stack development experience5+ years of recent, hands on Angular experience (v17 or higher only)5+ years of Java development using Spring Boot in production environments5+ years working with SQL Server, including: Writing complex SQL queriesIndex design and optimizationPerformance tuning and query execution planning (Not limited to ORM usage)Proven experience working on production grade enterprise applicationsStrong understanding of application architecture with the ability to clearly explain design and technical decisionsGood-to-Have SkillsExperience with microservices based architectureExposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience with RESTful API design, security, and performance optimizationFamiliarity with modern frontend practices such as state management and component driven design
