OCI Security Architect Cloud Security

Only USC/ GC or TN Visa Only on W2 No C2C Overview We are seeking experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Cloud Security Architects to support enterprise cloud security initiatives within large scale OCI environments. This role focuses on designing and implementing security architecture across the OCI platform including identity, networking, data protection, and cloud workload security. The architect will work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security controls into modern cloud delivery pipelines while supporting enterprise governance and compliance requirements. This role is part of a large consulting delivery program supporting enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. Responsibilities Design and implement cloud security architecture for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments Implement and manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) including dynamic groups, compartments, policies, and identity federation Secure OCI networking including: • VCN architecture • security lists • NSGs • private endpoints • load balancers Design and implement secure landing zones and enterprise cloud governance models Implement cloud security posture management and monitoring Deploy and configure OCI native security services including: • OCI Vault / Key Management • OCI Cloud Guard • Security Zones • Data Safe Conduct threat modeling and security risk assessments for OCI workloads Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines Support enterprise security and regulatory compliance initiatives including: • SOX • PCI • HIPAA (where applicable) Provide guidance on secure architecture patterns for containerized and microservices environments Required Skills 5+ years experience in cloud security architecture Hands-on experience securing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments Strong experience implementing: • OCI IAM • VCN networking security • encryption and key management Knowledge of cloud security frameworks including: • NIST • CIS benchmarks Experience securing containerized or microservices environments Experience working within large enterprise or consulting delivery environments Preferred Qualifications OCI Security Professional certification Experience supporting large scale enterprise consulting engagements Knowledge of multi cloud security architectures including AWS and Azure Experience with DevSecOps or secure CI/CD pipelines Location Texas preferred Dallas Houston Austin San Antonio (Consulting delivery model, flexibility depending on program needs) Engagement Type Consulting Contract
