Job DescriptionPosition Objective: Provide services as a Computer Programmer (Microsoft Intune Scripting and Programming) in support of the overall functions of the Center for Information Technology (CIT) within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Work as part of the Cyber Resiliency Development Team at NIH to develop process and framework to enroll all computer endpoints at NIH into Intune and develop scripts and programs to begin performing endpoint and AD configuration processes. Completing the enrollments by, direct engagement with ICO technical teams to resolve blockers to adoption, monitor reporting to track ICO adoption progress, and monitor reporting to identify misconfigurations for onboarded devices. Operationalize Intune for device management assessment of NIH configuration baseline policies, gather ICO use cases and requirements for operability, determine current NIH configuration baseline alignment, and develop proposed product roadmap and functionality.Duties And ResponsibilitiesUse analytic methods to solve real world problems.Evaluate new analytic methods and software and adapt them if necessary.Work with staff to develop, test and refine novel programming methods, toolkits, and algorithms.Develop Windows scripts to create workflows; perform batch processing.Serve as the application lead for applications.Use analytic methods to solve real world problems.Collaborate with staff to develop, test, refine and apply advanced statistical and computational methods.Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.Serve as the lead in the technology areas, including roadmaps, schedules, status reports, plans and recommendations.Test and install the software updates.Maintain and follow SOPs, configuration management, upgrades and availability.Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to detail all steps and activities carried out for all aspects of the program data management.Maintain and follow SOPs, configuration management, upgrades and availability.Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to detail all steps and activities carried out for all aspects of the program data management.Manage and troubleshoot deployments and image builds.Troubleshoot scripts and programs to ensure successful use of said scripts and programs.Implement improvements to development activities to speed development of applications, databases, or software tools.Plan, build and maintain applications to meet end users need.Manage and troubleshoot deployments and image builds. 5Support hardware and biological software by providing technical support to staff. 4Provide guidance/problem resolution for users of personal computers/Macintosh/Unix systems. 3Implement improvements to operations. 2Evaluate data quality (accuracy and completeness) associated with the comparison tool/application. 1Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business management and administration, computer and information systems, computer programming and data processing, computer science, information sciences, or a related discipline.Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) required.Experience with algorithm development and database management.Skilled in Javascript.Minimum QualificationsAbility to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.*This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required by this position.
