Unified Communications Technician | Contract | Washington, DCWe're seeking an experienced Unified Communications Technician for a leading global media & entertainment company's Washington, DC office. This is a great opportunity for an AV/UC professional to own the audiovisual, video teleconferencing, and telephony experience for a fast-paced, high-visibility corporate environment — including live event production and executive-level meeting support.Location: Washington, DC (onsite — no remote flexibility)Contract Length: 1 year, with possibility of extensionStart Date: August 2026Schedule: Standard business hours; occasional OT possibleWhat You'll DoSupport and manage AV, VTC, and phone systems across the organizationOversee in-house AV equipment in conference roomsManage IPTV systems throughout the officeServe as lead technical contact for major live events — setup, execution, and troubleshootingAdminister Zoom Phone and other unified communications toolsProvide design recommendations and guidance for AV/UC systemsMonitor system performance, availability, and capacityEstablish and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for UC systemsHandle digital signage requests and platform managementMust-Have Qualifications3+ years of experience with Zoom and Teams AV, phone, and event support (AV engineer, camera operator, or similar background)Knowledge of AV devices/systems such as Crestron and Logitech3+ years of experience with digital signage platforms (AppSpace, Populo, BrightSign, or similar)3+ years of room installation experience and familiarity with updating AV technologiesNice-to-HavePassion for and knowledge of the media, entertainment, and technology industriesFamiliarity with streaming products/servicesExperience working within a national or global organizationComfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment
