Quality Assurance Engineering ManagerLockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineering Manager to lead the PAC-3 Evolutionary Development and Transition-to-Production (T2P) program in Arlington, TX. Reporting to the PAC-3 Program Quality Sr. Manager, the incumbent will provide strategic managerial oversight for program-wide quality processes, data analytics, talent development, training, and knowledge continuity across Integrated Air Missile Defense (IAMD) product lines.As the Program Quality Engineering Manager you will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive quality strategy that moves the organization from development-phase quality to full-production quality. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Define and enforce program-wide quality processes across development, qualification, flight testing, and production.Lead data-analytics initiatives to turn quality metrics into actionable improvements.Develop and mentor talent, providing training and knowledge continuity for the Integrated Air Missile Defense product lines.Standardize processes and mitigate risk through design-for-manufacturability practices.Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and manage schedule, staffing, and budget constraints to meet critical milestones.The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.Basic Qualifications:US Citizen and current interim Secret clearanceBachelor's degree or higher in Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical disciplineLeadership experience directing quality, manufacturing, and continuous-improvement initiatives in a production environment, with documented outcomes such as defect-reduction, cost-saving, or schedule-adherence metricsDemonstrated experience applying quality-system principles and driving measurable process improvements in a manufacturing settingProven experience establishing and maintaining positive supplier and customer interfaces to facilitate collaborative problem-solving and sustain quality performanceDesired Skills:Strong presence and written/oral communication abilities, with a track record of influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teamsSkilled in planning, leading, and supporting scheduled program reviews (e.g., First Article Inspection, Production Readiness Review, Product Line Validation, Program Management Review)Extensive knowledge of MFC systems, product lines, manufacturing sites, and supplier operationsStrong presence and communication skills; able to clearly articulate complex technical issues and solutions to senior leadershipHands-on experience establishing or maturing a quality-management system for a production-line startup, from concept through executionComfortable operating in ambiguous environments and making sound decisions with incomplete dataProven ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of cross-functional MFC teams, including leading projectsFamiliarity with SAP/APRISO and the DD250 processExperience working with U.S. Government customers and the Defense Contract Management AgencyPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
