The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Martinsburg, WV.Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Laborist.Qualifications: Applicants must have a MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license. Applicants must have completed an OB/Gyn Residency program. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.The Obstetrics and Gynecology providers of WVU Medicine provide a full spectrum of women's health services, from adolescence through menopause and beyond. Our hospital has an annual volume of 1,100 deliveries with an MDA & CRNA mixed model and midwives with delivery privileges.Whether you need a preventive exam, specialized gynecologic treatment or obstetric services, our providers offer the latest innovative advances in obstetric and gynecologic care.Berkeley Medical Center serves the community as a 195-bed non-profit acute care hospital. BMC offers full radiology services including MRI, PET, nuclear medicine and interventional radiology; a wound care center with two hyperbaric chambers,?a Level III NICU, a 20-bed ICU, oncology services, neurosurgery services (including a Mazor robot) and a Cardiac Cath Lab.
