AI Integrations Developer
AI Integrations DeveloperHeyden Supply | Duluth, GA (On-site) | Full-timeAbout the RoleHeyden Supply, a family-owned construction supply and building materials distributor, is looking for an AI Integrations Developer to design and build the AI-driven tooling and system integrations that connect our ERP, ecommerce platform, and marketplaces. This is a hands-on engineering role reporting to our Ecommerce Director. You'll be writing and shipping code, not managing a roadmap. We have a substantial backlog of integration and automation work, enough to keep this role busy full time. What You'll Do• Build and maintain a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server against our ERP system to power AI-driven internal workflows• Develop integrations between our ERP, ecommerce website platform, and marketplace channels (e.g. Amazon SP-API)• Design event-driven and API-based automations that reduce manual, repetitive work across the business• Work with LLM tooling (function calling/tool use, RAG, vector databases) to build practical AI-powered workflows, not just prototypes• Build with data integrity and reliability in mind. Our environment favors incremental, well-tested rollouts over big-bang changes• Partner directly with our Ecommerce Director to prioritize and scope new integration projects as needs ariseWhat We're Looking For• This is a builder role, not a strategy role. You'll be the one writing, testing, and deploying the code. If you're coming from a role where you directed engineering work rather than did it, this isn't the right fit.• Solid backend development experience in Python or Node/TypeScript• Experience building or consuming REST APIs and webhook/event-driven integrations• Practical experience with LLM/AI tooling - function calling, RAG, vector databases, or agent frameworks; direct experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a strong plus• Comfort working with ERP, ecommerce, or order-management systems a plus (Epicor BisTrack experience especially valuable, though not required)• Able to work independently and take a project from concept to production with minimal oversight• Comfortable in a small, fast-moving environment where you may be the only person building a given toolCompensation & Schedule• Compensation commensurate with experience• Full-time, on-site at our Duluth, GA office
