Senior Staffing Coordinator
Summary / Duties:Staffing Coordinator II will provide non-clinical administrative support in the central staffing office, focused on daily staffing, timekeeping, and scheduling for inpatient unit support. This role coordinates staffing resources, responds to patient care staffing needs, collaborates with house supervisors, and assigns staff to appropriate units based on skill level, census, availability, and unit guidelines. Duties include maintaining schedules, supporting Kronos timekeeping, using Clairvia, Teams, Excel, and related systems, entering and auditing data, preparing routine reports, and screening communications. The role also supports patient appointment scheduling as needed, maintains confidentiality of PHI, follows regulatory and facility policies, and helps ensure staffing tasks are completed within department time frames.Requirements:HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience1+ year of recent relevant staffing, scheduling, administrative, or healthcare operations experienceExperience with staff scheduling, timekeeping, and daily staffing coordinationExperience with Kronos, Microsoft Teams, Clairvia, Excel, and related information systemsAbility to coordinate staffing resources for inpatient hospital unit supportAbility to communicate with staff, house supervisors, and healthcare teams to resolve coverage needsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to maintain PHI confidentiality and follow local, state, federal, departmental, and facility policiesPreferred Requirements:Experience in a central staffing office or nursing support services environmentExperience with Epic or electronic health record systemsExperience preparing staffing reports, maintaining databases, and auditing dataAbility to manage competing priorities in an environment with interruptionsExperience supporting payroll or timekeeping workflows
