This is a highly hands-on role for a brand leader who thrives in the details, enjoys partnering closely with Sales, and is energized by turning strategy into action.The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for owning the annual brand plan in-market, managing a high volume of retailer and commercial requests, and ensuring the brand shows up powerfully and consistently across retail, social, ecommerce, and media. This role balances strategic thinking with executional leadership and requires someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to partner with multiple functions and deliver the business.You will manage the Social Media team, and partner closely with Innovation, Sales, Ecommerce, Media, and Operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn Brand Performance & Annual PlanningOwn execution of the annual brand plan and contribute to the Annual Business ReviewBe accountable for brand performance against key commercial goals, including revenue and activation effectivenessMonitor performance versus plan and flag risks, opportunities, and needed adjustmentsAct as a steward of brand priorities, helping balance ambition with capacityLead In-Market Execution (Hands-On)Own the in-market activation calendar, ensuring initiatives are well-prioritized, realistic and executed with excellence.Lead day-to-day execution acrossRetail Marketing ProgramsPromotional Events and Seasonal MomentsProduct Kits and fast-turn opportunitiesPartner closely with Sales to respond to retailer requestsTranslate Strategy Into ActionPartner with Innovation teams to bring new products and initiatives to marketTranslate brand and innovation strategy into clear go-to-market plansProvide market, retailer, and consumer feedback to inform brand and innovation decisionsHelp reduce tactical burden on upstream teams by owning in-market deliveryCross-Functional Brand LeadershipServe as key "connector" across:Social Media (content strategy, cadence, storytelling)Ecommerce (DTC and Amazon alignment)Media (campaign support and amplification)Sales (retail priorities and execution)Ensure all channels feel connected to one clear brand storyPotentially manage agency relationshipsLead the Social Media teamDirectly manage the Social Media and Influencer/PR teamSet clear priorities, provide strong direction, and remove obstaclesWhat Success Looks LikeBrand plans are executed cleanly and on timeRetail and Sales partners feel supported, responsive, and well-alignedThe in-market calendar is focused and manageableBrand activations feel cohesive, intentional, and commercially effectiveUpstream innovation and strategy teams are freed from day-to-day executionPriorities are clear, with proactive planning and commitments delivered smoothlyRequirements:5+ years of experience in CPG brand management (beauty or skincare strongly preferred)Proven experience managing in-market execution and retail-driven initiativesComfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on deliveryStrong cross-functional collaborator who can manage competing prioritiesOrganized, decisive, and resilient in fast-moving environmentsClear communicator who brings structure to complexityPerks:Why Rare Beauty BrandsAt Rare Beauty Brands, we believe great brands are built by people who support one another, think boldly, and take pride in their impact.
