Software Engineering Manager (Java + Angular)

This role is ideal for a strong full-stack engineer with solid backend expertise and experience building, testing, and deploying scalable applications in a cloud environment.The selected candidate will work closely with a cross-functional team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of critical platform capabilities for a client project. This position requires on-shore availability and close collaboration with engineering and product stakeholders.Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for a Data Management Platform Contribute to both backend and frontend development efforts Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to define technical solutions aligned with business requirements Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best engineering practices Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments Ensure quality through automated testing and a strong focus on reliability and performanceHard Skills - Must have:Experience building frontend applications using AngularWorking knowledge of Java with Spring BootSolid experience with SQL Server and relational database designExperience with infrastructure as code tools, preferably PulumiHands-on experience with Azure Pipelines for CI/CDExperience with automated testing frameworks, particularly CypressFamiliarity with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft AzureSoft Skills:Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional and client-facing teamsProactive attitude and strong sense of ownershipAbility to work independently while aligning with team and project goalsProblem-solving mindset with attention to detailComfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environmentNice to have:Experience working on data-intensive platforms or data management solutionsExposure to cloud-native architectures and DevOps practicesBackground working in distributed or client-facing teamsAt Allata, we value differences.Allata is an equal opportunity employer.
