If you have a strong background in quality inspection and enjoy working closely with production teams, this role is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process and final inspections across multiple machining cellsAct as a floor-level quality expert, supporting machinists and inspectorsUse precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and comparatorsIdentify, document, and help resolve nonconformances (NCRs)Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 standardsMust-Have Qualifications5+ years of quality experience in precision machiningStrong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&THands-on experience with in-process and final inspectionsProficiency in precision measurement toolsWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485Strong communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in CNC or Swiss machining environmentsBackground in NCR generation and corrective actionsExperience mentoring or supporting junior inspectors or operatorsCertifications such as CQT, CQI, or Six SigmaWork EnvironmentClean, climate-controlled medical device facilityStrong focus on quality and regulatory complianceUniforms and safety equipment providedOpportunities for overtime based on production needs
