We are working with Curium, a Silicon Valley–backed startup pioneering a new field called Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — redefining how brands gain visibility in the age of AI-driven search.Curium is building tools that help companies show up better in AI search tools like ChatGPT or other AI assistants. Think of it like SEO for Google—but for AI. The team has pioneered novel optimization approaches and is now bringing these innovations to market, backed by top-tier investors like General Catalyst and Nexus, along with industry leaders from OpenAI, Intel, and Nutanix.They are currently looking to hire a Full-Stack Software Engineer (AI Platform) to help build and scale their core systems.Role OverviewThis role involves working across both backend infrastructure and frontend analytics, building distributed systems, scalable APIs, and intuitive interfaces that make complex AI model behavior interpretable.What You’ll DoBackend & PlatformBuild and scale distributed systems for large-scale simulation and reinforcement learning experimentsDevelop APIs across retrieval, ranking, and evaluation layersImprove infrastructure reliability with observability, monitoring, and CI/CDFrontend & UXBuild data-rich dashboards and visualizations for LLM behavior and analyticsDevelop high-performance interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Next.jsWork closely with design and ML teams on real-time data visualizationWhat They’re Looking ForRequired:3+ years of experience in backend, frontend, or full-stack developmentStrong skills in Python, Go, or Node.jsExperience with React, TypeScript, or Next.jsFamiliarity with distributed systems, AWS/GCP, Docker, KubernetesSolid understanding of databases and data pipelines (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Airflow)Preferred:Experience with data visualization (D3.js, Plotly, Recharts)Exposure to ML/LLM products or analytics dashboardsBackground in SaaS or data-intensive platformsWhy CuriumBuild the foundation for a new category: Generative Engine OptimizationWork with a world-class founding team from Princeton, Google DeepMind, OpenAI, and AI2High ownership, fast-paced environment with direct impactCompetitive compensation and strong benefits
