Cleanroom Technician 2nd ShiftJoin a growing manufacturing team as a Cleanroom Technician on 2nd shift, assembling large electrical power products in a clean, climate-controlled facility. In this role, you will build and wire large electrical bins, route cables, and install mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools while following blueprints and assembly instructions. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term employment and advancement.ResponsibilitiesAssemble large 30 x 50 foot electrical bins used in power product manufacturing.Run and route various cables throughout each electrical bin according to specifications.Assemble and install a variety of electrical and mechanical components within the bins.Use hand and power tools, including drills and other common shop tools, to complete assembly tasks safely and accurately.Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions to ensure correct builds.Measure materials accurately using a tape measure and verify dimensions during assembly.Apply mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot basic assembly issues and ensure quality workmanship.Collaborate with other assemblers and line wirers on the production floor to meet project and production deadlines.Work consistent overtime, including additional hours before the regular shift, to support high production demand.Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and cleanroom standards within the manufacturing environment.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical inclination and mechanical aptitude for assembly work.Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure during assembly.Comfort working 50+ hours per week, including regular overtime.Reliability and consistent attendance to support production schedules.Basic experience using hand and power tools in an assembly, construction, or similar environment.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work from blueprints or drawings.Capability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious construction experience, particularly in structural or equipment assembly.Carpentry experience, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.Automotive mechanics experience or other hands-on mechanical repair work.Experience with wiring or cabling in an electrical or low-voltage environment.Prior mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or production setting.Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.Interest in long-term, contract-to-hire opportunities with room for growth.Why Work Here?You will join a stable, growing business that has recently secured multiple long-term projects, creating strong job security and ongoing work. You will work on 2nd shift, typically from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with regular overtime scheduled before the shift and an expectation of working 50+ hours per week. A shift differential is offered for off-shift work. The environment is production-focused yet orderly, with dedicated areas for electrical and mechanical assembly. You will regularly use hand and power tools, such as drills and other common shop equipment, and follow cleanroom and safety standards throughout the facility. The production floor supports both 1st and 2nd shift operations, providing a structured and professional setting for long-term manufacturing work.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
