Job Description Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Pipe welder to join our team. In this role, you will work in various industrial settings. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.Responsibilities Inspect and ensure pipe is correctly prepared to make an X-ray quality weldComplete welds in shop and field in all positionsUse a variety of hand and power toolsWork with other construction professionals to complete projectsFollow all safety guidelinesComplete all welds in a timely matterEmployment requirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipe WelderHave own tools available for daily use, including Stinger, Tig Rig, regulator, welding hood, and bucketAbility to pass 2-inch Schedule 80 6G pipe test in carbon and stainless steelHigh School Diploma or equivalent (experience may be substituted for education)Legally eligible to work in the United StatesPossess current, valid driver's license (not under suspension or limitation)Have the transportation means to report to multiple job sites as assignedAbility to pass pre-employment and random drug tests throughout employmentJob qualificationsAbility to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)Knowledge of how mechanical equipment worksKnowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelinesAbility to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting heavy objects and withstanding temperature extremes found in boilers, paper machines, manufacturing facilities, etc.Ability to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime during afternoons, evenings and weekends as neededBenefits/CompensationBenefits available after 90-day probationary periodCompetitive pay based on experience and capabilities
